From Me
To You was the first song that John Lennon and Paul McCartney
wrote specifically for a single release. It was written
at the back of a tour bus in February 28 1963. They got
the idea from the UK music magazine New Musical Express
(NME), where the 'letters to the editor' section was called
From You To Us. McCartney has said that Lennon and himself
took a giant leap as song writers with this song.
From Me
To You reached number 1 on the UK charts, where it stayed
for seven weeks.

Da da
da da da dum dum da
Da da da da da dum dum da
If there's
anything that you want
If there's anything I can do
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you
I've got
everything that you want
Like a heart that's oh so true
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you
I got
arms that long to hold you
And keep you by my side
I got lips that long to kiss you
And keep you satisfied, oooh
If there's
anything that you want
If there's anything I can do
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you
From me,
to you
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you
I got
arms that long to hold you
And keep you by my side
I got lips that long to kiss you
And keep you satisfied, oooh
If there's
anything that you want
If there's anything I can do
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you
To you, to you, to you
