Paul McCartney
has told at least two conflicting stories about how he wrote
All My Loving: In the 1960s he said that he wrote the song
one morning while shaving. In an interview with Playboy
in 1984, however, McCartney said he wrote the lyrics to
the song in a tour bus and that he composed the melody on
a piano during a sound check - both in May 1963. Even John
Lennon once said that he had written it.
The Beatles
performed All My Loving at the Ed Sullivan Show on February
9 1964 in front of 73 million TV viewers.
All My
Loving was also released as an EP, reaching number 13 on
the singles chart in the UK in February 1964.

Close
your eyes and Ill kiss you
Tomorrow Ill miss you
Remember Ill always be true
And then while Im away
Ill write home evry day
And Ill send all my loving to you
Ill
pretend that Im kissing
The lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true
And then while Im away
Ill write home evry day
And Ill send all my loving to you
All my
loving I will send to you
All my loving, darling Ill be true
